To mark its centenary of Ernesto de Sousa, the National Press presents, on May 15 at 3 pm, in the garden of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the new volume of the Ph. Series, dedicated to Ernesto de Sousa, a prolific multidisciplinary artist and avid promoter of synergies between generations of artists from the first and second half of the twentieth century.
At the table will be present Emília Tavares, author of the unpublished essay that accompanies the book “Zoom to the grain, to the scale, to the zero point”; Cláudio Garrudo, coordinator of the Ph Series; Duarte Azinheira, editorial and culture director of Imprensa Nacional and Isabel Alves, widow of Ernesto Sousa.
After Jorge Molder, Paulo Nozolino (both already in the second edition), Helena Almeida (out of print), Fernando Lemos and José M. Rodrigues, the National Press presents the new volume with the work of Ernesto de Sousa. The Ph. Series, directed by Cláudio Garrudo, is a collection of monographs dedicated to contemporary, bilingual, affordable Portuguese photography, which aims to make the authors' work known, with expert texts and presenting the expanded and multiple territories of Photography .
