THE DILEMMA OF BEING AND APPEARING
PORTRAIT IN PAINTING, PHOTOGRAPHY AND SCULPTURE (1850-1916)
Curatorship: Maria de Aires Silveira, Emília Tavares
This exhibition presents a dialogue between painting, photography and sculpture in the second half of the 19th century, featuring works from the collections of the MNAC and the DGPC’s Archive of Photographic Documentation
MNAC is, once again, a partner of the Imago Lisboa festival, whose exhibition proposals will be distributed in various spaces in the city and welcomes, in this edition, the work of the American photographer, Todd Hido.
