As part of the Millennium bcp Foundation's 30th anniversary celebrations, the group exhibition CAMINHOS. Millennium bcp Collection, is curated by Emília Ferreira, Regina Branco and Joana d'Oliva Monteiro.
With 31 works by 22 authors from the Millennium bcp collection, this group exhibition addresses the desire to travel or the intimate need to create one's own paths, based on the theme of landscape. The vital need for contact with nature, also advocating movement as the essence of life, inspired by the thought of the writer and naturalist Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862), was the first pretext for this exhibition and for the selection of works around the plural representation of paths.
Thus, in the works chosen, the places of creation suggest the relationship with physical places, spiritual paths and those of the imagination, the notion of space-time or the construction of memory.
On display at the Millennium bcp Gallery, at MNAC, from May 16 to August 24, 2025, it will feature a publication which, in addition to the curatorial texts, will present unpublished essays.

Aldebaran Fallen to the Ground is a series of shaped paintings, with irregular, organic contours. The intensity and incidence of light intrude on the viewing of those (most of them) faces, painted in oil pastels.
