Paths of Orfeu...

A decade after the release of the double CD Caminhos de Orfeu with nine works commissioned, the GMCL - now 50 years old - continues on the tireless path of the promotion and dissemination of contemporary Portuguese musical creation, its authors and performers. In this concert, GMCL will invoke one of the facets that form its genesis since its foundation: the dissemination of contemporary music among young people and the pedagogical training of young performers for the music of their time. This program will include works by Jorge Peixinho, Clotilde Rosa, Jorge Sá Machado and Christopher Bochmann.
