Cécile B. Evans (1983, USA) is a Belgian American artist based in Berlin and London. She is the 2012 recipient of the Emdash Award which resulted in a commissioned work for the Frieze Art Fair in London. She is also the 2013 recipient of the PYA Prize, which resulted in the production and exhibition of a new video work at the Palais de Tokyo (Paris). Other previous exhibitions have included La Voix Humaine curated by Saim Demircan, Kunstverein Munich, Annals of the 29th Century curated by Gareth Bell-Jones, Wysing Arts Centre, How to Eclipse the Light curated by Karen Archey, Wilkinson Gallery (London) and Desire at the Bergen Art Museum (NO). She was recently an artist in resident at the Wysing Arts Centre (UK) and participated in talks series such as Rhizome’s Seven on Seven at the Barbican (UK), ICA Salon (UK), and Art Basel Miami Beach Conversations (FL). She is currently working on a long term project with the Serpentine Galleries (UK), AGNES.
French-Algerian artist Neïl Beloufa (1985, Paris) has had recent solo exhibitions at the Mendes Wood Gallery, Sao Paolo (2014); Fondation d’Entreprise Ricard, Paris (2014); the Hammer museum, Los Angeles (2013); and Kunstraum Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria (2012); His videos have been screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (2011); the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Netherlands (2009, 2012, 2014); and the London Film Festival (2009, 2010, 2011), and he was awarded grand prizes at the 54th and 57th Oberhausen Kurzfilmtage in Oberhausen, Germany. Beloufa has received many other honours, most recently the Audi Talent Award, Paris (2011) and the Meurice Prize for contemporary art (2013). In 2014 had solo exhibitions at ICA, London and The Banff Centre in Canada.
Antoine Catala (1975, Toulouse) lives and works in New York. His work has recently been shown at the 12th Lyon Biennial, Meanwhile… Suddenly, and then, in the Speculations on Anonymous Materials exhibition at Fridericianum in Kassel, at Empire State at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome and Thaddeus Ropac in Paris, ProBio, EXPO 1: New York at MoMA PS1 in New York and Pommery Experience #11 “An Odysse : FRAC Champagne-Ardenne 30th anniversary”, at Domaine Pommery in Reims.
Diogo Evangelista (1984, Lisboa) vive em Lisboa. O seu trabalho reflete sobre o estatuto da imagem e o seu potencial como veiculo contracultural. Tendo como pontos de partida imagens e videos de arquivo produz narrativas não lineares e pontos de vista especulativos acerca do real. Seleção de exposições indiduais : Sunset. Oliver Laric (1981, Innsbruck) lives and works in Berlin. He studied at the Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien. Laric's first solo exhibition in Germany ‘Be Water my Friend’ took place at Tanya Leighton Gallery, Berlin in 2012. His video work 'Versions' (2012) premiered at Art Statements, Art|43|Basel (14-17 June 2012). Shana Moulton (1976, Oakhurst) cresce perto de Yosemite, na Califórnia, e obteve a sua licenciatura em Arte e Antropologia pela Universidade da Califórnia, Berkeley e seu MFA na Universidade Carnegie Mellon. Durante os últimos dez anos, Moulton tem vindo a produzir a série de vídeo-performance Whispering Pines, onde interpreta o papel de "Cynthia", simultaneamente uma figura fictícia e um alter ego do artista. Moulton teve exposições individuais ou performances no New Museum, SFMOMA, MoMA PS1, Performa 2009, The Kitchen, Electronic Arts Intermix, Art in General, The Andy Warhol Museum, Palais de Tokyo, em Paris, o Museu Migros em Zurique e o Times Museum, em Guangzhou. O seu trabalho foi incluido em textos publicados no Village Voice, Artforum, o Brooklyn Rail, o New York Times, Artnet Magazine, Frieze Magazine, Art Review, Artpress e Flash Art. É representada pela Electronic Arts Intermix e ART21 e ensina na Kunstakademie de Munique.
Katja Novitskova (1984, Tallinn), currently lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In her project “Post Internet Survival Guide” (2010), Novitskova and her collaborators collectively gathered images and texts from the Internet to create a book that does not lament the powerless state of the image but rather attempts to “interpret and index this ocean of signs” in order to present us with strategies of “survival.” From 2008–2010 she studied at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam in the Graphic Design department. Laure Prouvost (1978, Croix-Lille). Estuda na Goldsmiths College e Central St Martins em Londres. De entre as suas exposições individuais descacam-se: Max Mara Art Prize for Women, Whitechapel Gallery, Londres, e Collezione Maramotti, Reggio Emilia (2013); Schwitters in Britain, Tate Britain, Londres (2013); Why Does Gregor Never Ring? Shut Your Lips, Somewhere Under That Bridge Lies the whole Truth (The Wanderer Sequence 5), MOTINTERNATIONAL, Londres (2012); e Frieze Projects, Frieze Art Fair, Londres (2011). Magali Reus (1981, The Hague) lives and works in London. Studied at Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam, NL and Goldsmiths College, London, UK. Recent solo exhibitions include The Hepworth Wakefield, UK, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin, IT and Sculpture Centre, New York, USA (all 2015), The Approach, London, UK and Circuit, Lausanne, CH (all 2014).
