Due to renovation works currently being carried out under Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), some areas of MNAC are temporarily closed to the public: the 1st floor and the Oven Room (second half of the 19th century), as well as part of the 3rd floor (20th century collection).

The Museum nevertheless remains open to visitors, with several spaces available to explore, including:

▪ Polivalente: Loops.Expanded (recently opened)
▪ Galeria Millennium bcp: "On Gestures and Forms: A Dialogue Between Collections"
▪ Galerias Capelo Norte e Sul: Maria José Oliveira, "I Who Once Was I", and "Ultratremor" (entrance via Rua Capelo, 13)
▪ Museum Shop, also located at Rua Capelo, 13

Please note that access to the restrooms at the Rua Serpa Pinto entrance may occasionally be affected, depending on the daily progress of the works.
