Exhibition by Luís Afonso
Luís Afonso's work, in an uncomplicated and fun way, is a stage for the visibility of current issues. Therefore, in this MNAC space, cartoons are exhibited with the good-humored stories of Bartoon and other works related to each other through the "Man of the Paleolithic". "O Homem do Paleolithic" resulted from the careful observation and power of the imagination of cartoonist Luís Afonso on the controversial Côa process, which culminated in the inscription of the engravings on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998, and in the construction of the iconic Côa Museum .
From October 3rd to November 25th 2021 at Sala PeP, at the Atrium of the MNAC, at Rua Serpa Pinto.
